Art

Art

Art provides sensory, emotional, intellectual and creative enrichment and contributes to our children’s holistic development.

Exposing our children to a variety of art forms contributes to the cultural ethos and to a sense of well-being that is vital for our organisation. Arts education enables our children to explore alternative ways of communicating with others.

Our purposeful arts education at the primary level is life-enhancing and is invaluable in stimulating creative thinking and in promoting capability and adaptability.

These activities help our children to make sense of their world, question, speculate and find collaborative solutions to deal with feelings and respond to creative experiences.

Safe Study’s arts curriculum comprises interrelated activities in making art and in looking at and responding to different art forms

We want to promote life skills and Safe Study is about creating safe, enriching and encouraging educational spaces for children and young people in South Africa.

A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.
